Troubleshooting
Satellite radio not working
When a satellite radio stops working, the cause is usually simple: weak antenna placement, a disconnected cable, incorrect activation, or a receiver that did not receive the network authorization signal.
1. Check the antenna cable at both ends and make sure it is fully seated.
2. Move the antenna or receiver to open sky with no overhead obstruction.
3. Power cycle the receiver and wait for the startup sequence to finish.
4. Compare the radio ID to the ID you submitted for activation.
5. Request a signal refresh if the account is active but the service does not load.
Quick diagnosis
If the receiver says no signal, check the antenna first. If it shows no channels after activation, verify the radio ID and request a signal refresh. If the issue started after a vehicle service or installation, look for a loose cable or the wrong input selection.
Most problems are solved in under ten minutes once the antenna and account are confirmed. If not, a specialist can check whether the issue is hardware, account status, or a missed activation signal.
